On Sunday the 10th of August a group of cadets from 1145 travelled to edinburgh castle to participate in the parade to commemorate the first world war. The cadets watched a display of the armed forces bands and then joined the parade that marched down the royal mile to the Scottish Parliament building. The event was televised so you may or may not have seen us? Our section of the parade, the Air Training Corps was led by none other than our very own Flight Lieutenant Kyle closely followed by Warrant Officer Ross and other Officers from South East Scotland wing then us, the cadets. The parade was a big success and we all hope to be able to re experience something like it again in the future.
