The Lord-Lieutenant's Cadet is selected by Cadet group leaders for their outstanding service and contributions to their respective unit and organisation. The role includes attendance with the area's respective HM Lord-Lieutenant, who acts as the Queen’s representative, at a number of official engagements, including remembrance events, Royal visits and parades.
Today our squadron was delighted to be informed that FS Aidan Collier has achieved the prestigious award that is the Lord Lieutenant's Cadet for Fife. 1145 (Dunfermline) Squadron has a fantastic relationship with the Lord Lieutenant and has had a great history achieving the appointment. FS Collier will be the ninth Lord Lieutenant's Cadet chosen from the squadron since 2002 the second in this category being the Squadron's current OC, Flight Lieutenant Moray Kyle.
