A few cadet nights ago we were doing field craft. We started by learning fieldcraft concepts such as shape, shine, shadow, silhouette and texture. We learned about this to help us in an  exercise we were doing later in the night .

After we learned about the concepts we went on to learn about how to properly use cammo cream. We got taught to apply it starting with a light brown base then went on to add green and black cream to break up our shape. This was some of what we learned from the earlier presentation on the fieldcraft concepts.

Our exercise was to do a task similar to hide and seek where we were told to find a good position to hide our location. We were then later evaluated on how effective a position we chose to hide in and how we could improve for next time.

Overall we found this a very enjoyable and informative night using our problem solving skills to the max and hopefully be able to do this again in the future.
