At camp we did many activities throughout the week including flying, the imperial war museum, spy experience, urban assault, mahram family’s day and battle of Britain memorial flight at RAF conningsby. We also had many activity’s set up such as the EOD squad, Night exercise, shooting and swimming. on base we did activity’s such as the MT section at and the heritage centre where the large majority of still functional harriers we based although they did not fly they could still be operated. While at conningsby our squadron saw some Russian mig 31s take off escorted by a large formation of typhoons. At the mahram family’s day there was a great deal to see and do such as the American EOD platoon and an American built C130 and an osprey aircraft. The F35 was also there. The typhoon and spitfire flew in formation at the airshow and the hurricane we saw at the BBMF also flew there. The red arrows, gnats and the biplane display team. At the wittering family’s day not much happened except the large majority of us got rides in a Chevrolet corvette and we got to go air rifle shooting.
