Regional Athletics by Cdt Cowan

I went down to RAF Cosford to represent Scotland and Northern Ireland region at regional athletics. The events that I participated in were high jump, 300 metres, 4x100 metre relay and 5x400 metre relay. 

 I came 4th in the high jump, last in the 300 metres and last in the relays. Although I didn't perform as well as I had hoped to it was a great experience and I met a lot of nice people from every corner of the United Kingdom. 


Unfortunately I did not get a medal but I am hopeful that the next time I participate I will be in with a chance.
