RIAT

​Sergeant Rae, Corporal Maxwell and Cadet Peoples recently attended the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford. The cadets were involved in a multitude of task throughout
the week including setting up enterance's for the public, VIP parking and stacking hundereds of chairs and tables. They also renewed their heartstart and learned some new radio skills.
During their freetime, the three were able to recieve tours around aircraft, swap patches and badges with pilots and watch the stunning airshow which included : The RAFAT The Red Arrows,
BAE Systems Eurofighter Typhoon, USAF F-22 Raptor, RAF F-35 and many other display teams and aircraft. The cadets also got to meet Matthew Lewis who plays Neville Longbottom in Harry Potter, Air Cdre Dawn Mccafferty and Honorary Group Captain Carol Voderman. The RIAT Cadet Detachment is the ATC's largest camp and those who participate would encourage anyone to sign up for the
coming years.
