On the 28th of August the 1145 squadron attended a private visit to Kinghorn RNLI station, we were met by a man called Allan who was in charge of the station and soon after we were taken inside the RNLI station, we were taught basic sea safety and we were told about some experiences of the RNLI, the bad and the good. Soon after we were given a tour of the station, we got to inspect their equipment which was very intriguing and fascinating. Their equipment was very advanced. Next, we were brought into a large room with the stations lifeboat and tractor were at rest. Finally, Allan gave a tour around the lifeboat. Altogether the tour of the Kinghorn lifeboat station was very interesting and inspiring. We hope to return soon.
