Who We Are

The Air Cadets were formed on 5th Feb 1941 and a few months later on 1st April 1941 our squadron was formed, initially base at Abbott House in Dunfermline, which still features the painted murals of Aircraft in one of its rooms to help young men learn to identify aircraft during WWII. Since then our squadron has changed quite a bit and has gone from strength to strength, we offer a huge number of activities and opportunities including Adventure Training, Leadership Courses, Overseas Camps, Flying and Gliding Scholarships and so much more...

Our Aims

 - To promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force (RAF).

 - To provide training which will be useful in both the services and civilian life.

 - To foster a spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship
