On Thursday 7th cadets voted on the 2016 Charity of the Year and we were pleased to pick our new charity. It was very hard to choose a charity from all the great suggestions and each person gave a small talk on why they felt their nomination should be chosen for the year. We decided to have a joint Charity of the Year which we will raise funds for throughout the year, the two amazing charities we decided on were:
Cerebra Cerebra is a unique charity set up to help improve the lives of children with brain related conditions through research, education and by directly supporting children and their careers and has directly assisted one of our own cadets family. Combat Stress Mental ill-health affects ex-Service men and women of all ages. Right now, they're supporting almost 6,000 Veterans aged from 18 to 97. They're a vital lifeline for these men, women and their families These are two great causes. We hope you will all support us in raising funds for these fantastic charities through the year. |
