A massive well done to Cdt Macauley Kenney after winning inter-squadron shot put went to represent South East Scotland Wing achieving a bronze medal and became 3rd best in Scotland & Northern Ireland for age group. Cdt M Kenney unfortunately didnt get through to the regional team but none the less will soon receive his wing blues and has already been added to the 1145 Roll of Honour.
The team won all three of their knockout games; two on penalties against 2462 (Currie & Balerno) Sqn and 1192 (Kirkcaldy) Sqn and a straight win against 2450 (Dudhope) Sqn. The final was lost to the well deserving 2466 (Loanhead) Sqn winning 6-0 against a five man team as Cpl Colliar had broken his wrist and not even realised.
The 1145 Team was made up of Sgt D Harley, Cpl C Kenney, Cpl C Stevens, Cpl A Colliar, Cdt A Rae and in goals Cdt L Cochrane, with Cpl C Kenney being the teams top goal scorer with five goals in the four games.
