On the 2nd of April cadets from 1145 held a rank auction with funds donated for the ranks given to our charity of the year (Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research). For this night all NCO's and Staff had to hand in their tapes and cadets can bid on buying them so they would have that rank for the night. Throughout the night Cadets done drill both half's with the NCO's for the night taking drill and also doing the NCO duties such as canteen. At the end of the night we had some promotions handed out too. Cpl Rae was promoted to Sgt, Sgt Colliar to FS, Cdt Talbot to Cpl and Cdt Paterson to Cpl. Overall the night was very successful and great fun with a total of £56 raised for our charity of the year!

Tonight cadets participated in a First Aid competition organised by Cpl Rae. Both flights were to compete against each other in a scenario to see who could achieve the best score by the judges. In the end Vulcan flight one but it was very close between both flights and all the cadets enjoyed the experience and the contribution to their knowledge about first aid.
