Regional Inspection

After receiving the news earlier this year, our squadron was honoured to host Regional Commandant, Gp Capt Leggat and Assistant Regional Commandant, Sqn Ldr Erasmason for our Regional Lees Trohpy Inspection on 12th February.  

Our night began by holding a formal parade on the drill deck of HMS Scotia where our inspecting officers spoke to staff and cadets about their experiences in the corps. Afterwards Gp Capt Leggat and Sqn Ldr Erasmason spoke to cadets within our RC Modelling project and watched a drill demonstration by some of our more senior cadets.

After heading over to squadron HQ, Cpl's Maxwell and Murray gave a presentation on the squadrons success throughout the year which was followed soon after by refreshments with the squadron staff and committee. The inspecting officers then visited the squadron projects before debriefing our OC and joining us on final parade for some presentations. 

We hope that the Gp Capt Leggat and Sqn Ldr Erasmason thoroughly enjoyed themselves during their time with us. We were extremely proud to have represented SE Scotland Wing at this leveland we hope that we can do you all very proud.
