The sky was filled with aircraft as 2 cadets from 1145 Dunfermline squadron started their Bronze Remote Control flying training. They travelled to a small field in Glenrothes that is used by the 2 Civilian Instructors and many others on the club. Cadets practiced circuits, flying the plane in a circle having the same entrance and exit point in the sky and procedure turns which is like a P-shape in the sky. The manoeuvres are a lot harder than you think and take several shots to get it right. The weather on the day was calm but for training it is better to have a windier day to get used to the worst of conditions. Unfortunately we had 2 crashes but that only meant we had a good day. They weren't severe, only a wingtip break and an engine failure. All in all a day of great fun! Photos Calum Maxwell
